Hotel Restaurant Solskin in Vlissingen truly lives up to its name, meaning sunshine in Danish, fitting perfectly in this coastal haven with its abundance of sunny days. The room my companions and I booked offered a stunning view of the Scheldemonding, where we enjoyed watching colossal ships glide by from a lovely enclosed balcony. The maritime restaurant served us a delightful dinner, showcasing sublime French-Dutch cuisine that made our stay feel even more indulgent. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere upon checking in, where the friendly staff quickly made us feel at home. The well-equipped room featured a spacious bathroom, complete with both a bath and shower, proving to be a perfect retreat after leisurely strolls along the impressive boulevard. If you're looking for a spot to recharge your spirit with a mix of comfort, good food, and seaside breezes, I highly recommend Solskin. It was a memorable getaway, and I can't wait to return!
